Why we made it
The problem with weekly vitamin D sachets is not the dose — it is what happens to it. Cholecalciferol is fat-soluble, and a granule dissolved in water is poorly absorbed by a gut that has nothing to emulsify it with.

Drink the entire 5 ml shot directly, or as directed by your physician. Typically taken once weekly during a correction course. Best taken after a meal containing some fat, which aids absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.
High-dose vitamin D. Do not take more often than directed by your doctor. Not for patients with hypercalcaemia, hypervitaminosis D, or kidney stones without medical supervision. Have your serum 25-OH-D level checked before starting and after completing a course. Keep well out of reach of children.
