What it does

  • 400 mg EPA and 300 mg DHA per teaspoonful
  • Omega-3 DHA and EPA to support normal brain function, for children and adults
  • Vitamin D3 400 IU plus Vitamin A, C and E in the same dose
  • FOS included as a prebiotic for absorption and gut comfort
  • Syrup format — works for children and the elderly, no capsule to swallow
  • Delicious mango flavour

Why we made it

The thinking behind it

Brain tissue is roughly sixty per cent fat, and DHA is the single most abundant structural fatty acid in it. That makes marine omega-3 less of an optional supplement and more of a building material — particularly during childhood development and again in later life when cognitive decline becomes a concern.

Edo Well delivers 400 mg EPA and 300 mg DHA per 10 ml teaspoonful, alongside Vitamin D3, Vitamin A, C and E, calcium, folic acid and FOS as a prebiotic. Treatment with omega-3 fatty acids, being safe and well tolerated, represents a valuable and biologically plausible tool in the management of neurodegenerative diseases in their early stages.

Because it is a syrup rather than a capsule, it works for a five-year-old and an eighty-year-old alike. The mango flavour is there for a practical reason: a supplement nobody will swallow does nothing.

Uses

What it is used for

  • 01Omega-3 (DHA) nutritional support for children's brain development
  • 02Memory and cognitive function in adults and the elderly
  • 03Nutritional support alongside neurodegenerative disorders in their early stages
  • 04Support for mood and depressive symptoms as an adjunct
  • 05General omega-3 and vitamin D supplementation for the whole family
  • 06Eye and immune support through Vitamin A, C and E

The difference

How this differs from other brain & development products

Four things you can check on any competing label before you decide.

01

A therapeutic dose in a syrup

Children's omega-3 syrups typically carry 50 to 100 mg of DHA per dose. Edo Well delivers 700 mg of combined EPA and DHA in a single teaspoonful — capsule-level strength in a format a child can take.

02

Multivitamin built in, not sold separately

Vitamin D3, A, C, E, calcium and folic acid are all in the same teaspoon. There is no need for a second bottle alongside it.

03

One syrup, children to elderly

The same syrup suits children's omega-3 needs and adults or elderly users who want a capsule-free format. Very few products in this category cover both ends properly.

04

FOS as a prebiotic, deliberately

Fructo-oligosaccharide is included rather than plain sugar syrup as the carrier — it feeds gut flora instead of just sweetening the dose.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Is this a treatment for Alzheimer's or dementia?+

No. It is a nutraceutical that provides nutritional support. Any diagnosed neurodegenerative condition needs medical supervision and prescribed treatment — this sits alongside that, never in place of it.

Can my child take it?+

Yes — the syrup format is designed with children in mind. Ask your paediatrician for the right dose by age and weight.

Will it taste fishy?+

No. It is mango flavoured specifically to mask the fish oil, which is the usual reason people abandon omega-3 syrups.

How long should we continue?+

Omega-3 acts structurally, so benefit accumulates over months rather than days. Three to six months of consistent use is a reasonable first course.
